The trees here are starting to turn red--just the very tops of some, but it's the beginning of fall! Which brings me to wonder...why don't the grocery stores out here have good hot cocoa? All they carry is Nesquick and individually packaged Swiss Miss with marshmallows. Gross.
One other thing this area lacks: Cinnamon bears. Nowhere to be found.

That's a shame. I guess since I'm odd and don't like hot chocolate, I could live there quite happily :)

MMM... chocolate covered... that was my first thought after reading. But I love hot chocolate too-- true, haven't seen any gourmet around. Maybe you have to drive to Columbia for that.
We drove an hour to the Amish market on Sat and they had cinnamon bears... it's an hour drive for everything out here it seems. But then, once you drive to that market, you forget about cinnamon bears and hot chocolate and just eat a pie for breakfast... Don't ask me what my profession is :)
