Is it appropriate to wear leggings to church? I feel that it makes a church-worthy outfit too casual. But then I start to wonder if I'm being ridiculous.
I've often wondered, and I don't think I have a firm opinion yet. Don't necessarily think it's too casual, although I guess it wouldn't go with what I'd consider my "nicer" things. It's the modesty thing I've wondered about, but if the dress is modest? And if it makes it so every time you squat down to help your 2-yr old squirmer you don't even potentially flash someone... Warmer, less see-through than stinkin' nylons... Just defending the other side ;)

I agree that it makes the outfit too casual for church.
If you are wearing a skirt short enough that you need leggings, you should throw them both away. In other words, I agree.

I agree! What keeps a t-shirt from becoming a dress? BARF!
But...are leggings okay to wear with a dress for day-to-day things? Assuming the dress is still modest?
