Oh, Boy!
We're going to have a baby girl on June 8th! I had just assumed we were going to have a boy, so when the ultrasound tech told us it was a girl, I was giddy with shock. And really, the first thing I started thinking about was all the cute girl clothes, which, as Brittney said, just make you happy looking at them. Now after the initial shock has worn off, I'm just scared. Boys are so easy-going and relaxed, we already have plenty of boy clothes, toys, and books, and now I'm going to have to keep tights on hand for a baby girl. How am I going to do that when I snag a new pair of mine every Sunday? Please, someone reassure me that I'm not going to have a nervous breakdown from trying to accessorize a mini human being.

Congratulations! I'm so excited for you. You are going to be an awesome baby girl mom...cute dresses, flower headbands, tiny bracelets...nothing to be scared about it will come naturally.
Congratulations!! You will love having a girl, including the drama that comes with it. As far as accessorizing, don't stress. Just do as much or as little as you want.
By the time she's two, she'll decide what to wear anyway. Please just promise me that you won't put any bow or flower on her head that is as big or bigger than her head!

Haley, this information is useless without verifiable evidence that you are certainly carrying a child. Until you show us a picture, I don't believe you. A picture of you, that is.

Get the thick tights - those things are like pants. Outlast my own tights. And girls are sweet and cuddly. They don't break things (often). And you'll get into dressing her... even if you think you won't. Tiny girl clothes are so fun! And CONGRATS! (I'll have to come to you if I ever find out I'm having a boy. That thought scares me.)

Congratulations! I had no idea you were expecting. I'm sure you will be a fabulous mom to that little girl! And I've noticed there are way more options as far as girls' clothes goes, so that will be fun :)
